About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or buy from Flouw Robotics (2-03A TSL Place, Aguinaldo Highway, Mendez Crossing East, City of Tagaytay, Cavite). By using the site, creating an account, placing an order or registering for a training, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under Philippine law, including the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394).

Accounts

• You can buy as a guest; an account lets you see all your orders and registrations in one place.

• Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.

• If you are under 18, you need your parent or guardian's permission to create an account or buy from us, and they are responsible for your purchases. Students can also use kits and join trainings when a parent, guardian, teacher or school buys or registers for them.

• We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse or to break these terms.

Orders and prices

• Prices are in Philippine pesos (₱) and can change at any time; the price you pay is the one shown when you place your order.

• Your order is accepted once it is paid. Placing an order holds the items for 1 hour while you pay; if it isn't paid in that time, it is cancelled automatically and the items go back on sale.

• If a price or product description on the site is clearly wrong, we will contact you before shipping. You can then cancel for a full refund.

• Preorders: preorder items ship when the batch arrives; the date shown is our best estimate. If it is delayed, we will tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.

• Quotations for schools and bulk orders are valid for the number of days written on them, for the organization named on them.

• Vouchers follow the conditions shown with them (dates, minimum spend, one use per account, and so on), can't be exchanged for cash, and are not refunded if an order is cancelled.

Payment

• Online payments are processed by Maya (card, QR Ph or Maya wallet). Your card or wallet details are entered on Maya's page, not ours.

• Online payments include a convenience fee of 2%, shown before you pay. If we refund an order in full because of our error or a cancellation on our side, we refund this fee too.

• For school purchase orders, checks or other arrangements, contact us; we'll confirm the terms in writing.

Delivery

• We ship within the Philippines. The shipping fee is paid to the courier on delivery (cash on delivery), unless we agree otherwise.

• Delivery times depend on the courier and your location; any time we give is an estimate.

• Check your package when it arrives. If it is visibly damaged, take photos and tell us within 7 days (section 6).

• If a delivery fails because the address or contact details were wrong, or nobody received it, re-delivery costs may apply.

Returns, replacements and refunds

• If an item arrives damaged, defective or not what you ordered, message us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos or a short video. We will repair, replace or refund it, and cover the cost of sending it back.

• Items damaged by use not in line with the manual (for example, wrong wiring, burnt motors or drivers, over-charged or punctured batteries, or modified boards) are not covered, but we are happy to help you troubleshoot and to quote repairs or parts.

• We don't accept returns of items you simply changed your mind about once they have been opened or used.

• Approved refunds go back the way you paid (or as we agree), usually within 14 days after we approve them.

Trainings

• A paid registration is confirmed once it is paid. Spots are held for 1 hour while you pay.

• If you can't attend, tell us at least 3 days before the session: we can move the registration to another session or refund it. After that, or if nobody attends, the fee can't be refunded, but you may send someone else in your place.

• If we cancel or move a session, you can choose a full refund or a spot in another session.

• Participants under 18 are registered by a parent, guardian, teacher or school, who is responsible for their attendance and for bringing them to and from the venue unless agreed otherwise.

• We may take photos during sessions. We only share photos showing participants whose contact ticked "Flouw may share photos" when registering. You can change your mind any time: email us and we stop using them.

Safety

• Kits contain small parts, sharp edges, tools and electronics; they are not toys for young children. Children should build and use them with an adult nearby.

• Lithium (LiPo) batteries can catch fire if they are punctured, short-circuited or charged wrongly. Use the right charger, never leave them charging unattended, and stop using swollen or damaged batteries.

• Follow the manuals and instructions that come with each kit, and use robots only where they can't hurt people, animals or property.

Our content

The text, photos, logos, manuals, lessons and other materials on this site belong to Flouw Robotics or are used with permission. You may use them for your own learning and for teaching with our kits. Please don't copy, resell or republish them without our written permission. Example code we publish for our kits may be used and changed for your own robots and classes.

Our responsibility

• We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but it may sometimes have errors or be unavailable for maintenance.

• As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by using products against their instructions, or for indirect losses (such as lost competition results or time). Where we are responsible, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product or training concerned.

• None of this limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Orders already placed follow the terms in effect when you placed them.
